How your Italy homestay works
Your experience is centred around Milan, with my home as a welcoming base for language lessons, cooking together and discovering Italian culture in a natural, personal way. We plan your stay together, tailoring each day to your interests, your language level and your goals.
You can stay in a hotel, B&B or apartment of your choice. I’m happy to help you find accommodation that suits your needs and is conveniently located for our activities. This way, you can enjoy the independence of your own space while sharing meaningful moments and experiencing everyday Italian life with me.
Homestay in Italy and Italian language
Learning Italian goes far beyond the classroom. We combine focused language sessions with real-life conversation and practical activities, putting what you learn into practice throughout the day.
We might start with breakfast together at my home and a morning language session around the kitchen table, then head out to explore the neighbourhood, shop at the local market or discover a new part of the city. Back at my home, we can cook together using the ingredients we have just bought. Grammar, vocabulary and conversation become part of real experiences, helping you develop confidence and communicate more naturally in Italian.
Homestay in Milan and northern Italy
My home is in a lovely Milan neighbourhood, full of independent shops and local businesses, where everyday life still revolves around the neighbourhood. It is well connected by public transport and close to the city centre, making it an ideal base for discovering Milan beyond the usual tourist routes.
Depending on your interests, our programme might include art exhibitions, museums, concerts, historic places, local markets and hidden corners of the city. And if you would like to explore further, we can organise experiences beyond Milan, discovering the cultural and natural beauty of northern Italy.
