This experiential journey is based off a one-week Italian full immersion in Sicily where culture and everyday life blend naturally.
An intimate experience for couples and small groups
This journey is designed for couples or small, pre-existing groups: friends, partners, colleagues or family members who already know each other.
You’ll live together in a welcoming Sicilian home, sharing spaces, meals and informal lessons. Double rooms and shared bathrooms feel natural in this context, creating an atmosphere that’s relaxed, familiar and far from the anonymity of a hotel.
Guided by Renata from I Live Italiano, you will be able to study the language and live it through cultural discoveries, shared meals, walks, laughter and lovely conversations.
It’s not a traditional course, but a human experience made of real moments, perfect for those who want to learn Italian in Italy by doing, not by opening a textbook!
What your experiential week in Sicily includes
Everything is thoughtfully curated for you: accommodation, local food, transportation, guided visits and daily Italian sessions tailored to your group. From bustling markets to quiet villages, from Mount Etna to the sea, from wineries to historic streets, every experience becomes an opportunity to practice Italian naturally.
Lessons flow into daily life, following a gentle rhythm that leaves space for curiosity, connection and enjoyment. Renata will be your constant point of reference throughout the week.

Learn Italian while living Sicily Program 2026
Day 1
Pick up at Catania airport, warm welcome at Mascalucia with snack and beverage, accommodation, dinner.
Day 2
Breakfast, Italian class, lunch, afternoon at “Cantine Murgo”, guided tour, wine tasting, dinner. Back to Mascalucia, relax with tea and pastries.
Day 3
Breakfast, lift to Catania. Tour and lunch at the typical fish market, shopping, monuments, and churches in the historic center, speaking italian. Pick up at Catania. Dinner at Mascalucia.
Day 4
Breakfast, tour to the local market, ltalian class, lunch, afternoon tour to Etna craters. Free evening.
Day 5
Breakfast, visit to Siracusa’s archeological park, picnic by the sea “Fontane Bianche” (according to weather), tour to Ortigia and Noto, stop for “granita”and typical sweets in a traditional caffé. Back to Mascalucia.
Day 6
Breakfast, Italian class, lunch at fish restaurant by the sea, tour to Taormina/ Teatro Greco. Stop for ice cream. Back to Mascalucia, free evening.
Day 7
Breakfast, Italian class, lunch, tour to Acicastello, Acireale. Back to Mascalucia, goodbye aperitif with social activities.
Day 8
Breakfast, goodbye, lift to Catania airport.
